Phrasal Verbs - Put away


Put away (Separable) = Tenemos dos definiciones.
                               *Poner o guardar cosas en su sitio.
                               *Encarcelar durante mucho tiempo.
                               Put = Poner   Away = Más allá

Ejemplos:

I have to put away my things = Tengo que guardar mis cosas.
Put them away = ¡Guárdalas!
They’ll put him away forever for the crime he committed = Le encarcelarán para siempre por el crimen que cometió.
Pon las cosas en su sitio = Put your things away.
No las guardes = Don’t put them away.
Guarda los platos = Put the plates away.
Guárdalos = Put them away.
Guarda tu ropa = Put your clothes away.
Guárdala = Put it away.
Él guardó sus cosas = He put his things away.
Ella guardó sus cosas en orden = She put her things away in order.
El niño no quiso guardar sus cosas = The child didn't want top ut his/her things away.
¡Guarda tus cosas! = Put your things away!
¡Guárdalas o te castigo! = Put them away or I’ll punish you!
¡Están guardadas! = They’re put away.
¡No están guardadas! = They aren’t put away!
Te dije que estaban guardadas = I told you that they were put away.
No te vi ponerlas en su sitio = I didn’t see you put them away.
Ya no las guarde = I didn’t put the away.
¿Quién las guardó? = Who put them away?
Tú las guardaste = you put them away.
¿No te acuerdas que las guardaste tú?  = Do you remember putting them away?
El puede comer mucho = He can put away a lot of food.
Se comía las croquetas como si fueran panchitos = He was putting the biscuits away as if ther were peanuts.
Tenemos que matar al perro, está muy enfermo = we have top ut the dog away, it’s very ill.
No lo sacrifiques todavía = Don’t put it away yet.
