Phrasal Verbs - Put off


Put off (Separable) = Postponer o aplazar algo.
                               Put = Poner    Off = Apagado / Fuera

Ejemplos:

I have to put off my holidays, I have a lot of work to do = Tengo que aplazar mis vacaciones, tengo mmucho trabajo que hacer.
Put it off until tomorrow = Pospónlo hasta mañana.
Pospónlo = Put it off.
Pospónlos = Put them off.
Aplázalo para el mes que viene = Put it off until next month.
Aplázalo = Put it off.
Aplázalos = Put them off.
Aplaza la reunión = Put off the meeting.
No aplazaron la reunión = They didn’t put off the meeting.
Aplázala = Put it off.
Aplaza la fiesta = Put off the party.
Aplázala para el próximo viernes = Put it off until Friday.
Aplaza tu viaje = Putt off your trip.
Aplázalo = Put it off.
Pospón la cena = Put off the dinner.
Pospónla = Put it off.
¿Por qué siempre lo estás aplazando? = Why are you always putting it off?
No lo aplaces más = Don’t put it off anymore.
¿Lo vas a posponer? = Are you going to to put it off?
Hazlo ahora, no lo dejes para más tarde = Do it now, don’t put it off for later.
Siguen aplazando la firma del contrato = They keeping putting off the signing of the contract.
Pude decirles que lo dejen para más tarde = I can tell them top ut it off.
No debemos aplazarlo más = Wemust not put it off anymore.
¡No aceptaré excusas! = I’m not going to be put off any longer!
La gente se desanima con toda esa jerga técnica = People are put off with all that technical jargon.
¿Estás tatando de que la coja antipatía? = Are you trying to put me off her?
No dejes para mañana lo que puedas hacer hoy = Don’t put off for tomorrow what you can do today.
