Phrasal Verbs - Put on


Put on (Separable) = Tenemos 4 definiciones.
                               *Ponerse ropa.
                               *Poner algo sobre una superficie.
                               *Engañar a gente bromeando.
                               *Engordar.
                               Put = Poner   On = Encima/Sobre

Ejemplos:

Put the jacket on, it’s cold = Ponte la chaqueta, hace frío.
Put the astray on the table = Pon el cenicero en la mesa.
Put it on the table = Ponlo sobbre la mesa.
He’s putting you on = Te está tomando el pelo.
I usually put on weight during winter = Suelo engordar en invierno.

Póntela = Put it on.
Ponte el reloj = Put on your watch.
