Phrasal Verbs - Look At


Look At (Inseparable) = Mirar a alguien o a algo.
                               Look = Mirar   At = En: un punto de referencia

Ejemplos:

Look at Jhon = Mira a Juan.
Look at him = Míralo.
¡Mírala! = Look at her.
Míralos = Look at them.
Míranos = Look at us.
Él no lo quiso mirar = He didn’t want to look at it.
Mira aquellas montañas = look at those mountains.
Míralas = Look at them.
Míralas son enormes = Look at them, they’re huge.
Mira ese avión = Look at that plane.
Su marido no ha mirado no ha mirado nunca otra mujer = Her husband has never looked at another woman.
Siempre la miro cuando paso por su lado = I always look at her when I pass by her.
No se da cuenta de que la miro = She doesn’t realize that I look at her.
Ella no me quiso mirar = She didn’t want to look at me.
No me extraña que no me quiera mirar = I’m not surprised that she doesn’t want to look at me.
A mí no me mires, yo no fui = Don’t look t me, it wasn’t me.
Échales un vistazo = Have a look at them.
Estamos estudiando cómo podeos aumentar la productividad = We are looking at ways to improve our prodctivity.
Míralo desde mi punto de vista = Look at it in my point of view.
Ni siquiera  consideraron mi propuesta = They didn’t even look at my proposal.
Deja de mirarlas = Stop looking at them.
¡Míra qué hora es! = Look at the time!
Mírame a mí = Look at me.
Mira eso = Look at that.
No pares de mirarlos = Don’t stop looking at them.
Hay que pensar en 2000 euros como mínimo = We are looking at 2000 euros.
